Signs of Life

Things have been quiet for us with regard to cell groups, but there are signs of new life. I have been working with my leaders in huddles for nearly two years now and the church is in a healthier state. We have a growing group of people who share the vision and values that are necessary for cells to work well. I am reminded of Bill Beckham's wise words "do not try to change the structures until you have changed the values". I think we are nearly there.

I am now exploring the possibility of putting cells together into Clusters which have a Missionary focus and identity. This has been pioneered by St. Toms in Sheffield and implemented by St. Andrew's in Chorleywood. Bob Hopkins and Mike Breen have written a book about it called clusters.

Meanwhile our outreach to young people is going well and we are working towards starting Youth Cells.
